During the 1970's and 1980's when Wealdstone F.C. played at Lower Mead in Harrow, the Supporters Club had a club shop, run by supporter, Toby Jackson which was the envy of non-league clubs at the time. After Wealdstone left Lower Mead, the Supporters Club had a club shop at Edgware when they played there. When Wealdstone left Edgware and moved to Northwood, the Supporters Club erected a club shop but unfortunately it was vandalised within three days of it being erected. Since then, The Supporters Club have had to do without a club shop until the 2008-09 season. At the end of the Supporters Club Annual General Meeting held at "The Vale" on 3rd November 2008, supporters Adam Edwards and Mark Randall approached David Albert (WFCSC Chairman) and asked whether they could assist the Supporters Club in raising money by selling souvenirs and merchandise. David happily accepted their offer and Adam and Mark went away to put together some ideas and they were invited to attend the next Supporters Club committee meeting. At this meeting, all committee members were delighted with their enthusiasm and ideas and they were both accepted on to the committee. Immediately after this meeting a site was secured for a new Supporters Club Shop and within a couple of weeks, this site located adjacent to the refreshment hut behind the goal at the turnstile end of "The Vale", was transformed with the additional help of Mark Barton into a fully stocked club shop (see picture). It opened for business in December 2008 and since then has gone from strength to strength raising valuable income for the Supporters Club. In the space of four months over £ 3,000 was raised and at the last home game of the 2008-09 season, over £ 1,000 worth of stock was sold. A monumental effort. A wide variety of souvenirs are sold from the club shop. It is open on matchdays both before and after the match and during the half-time interval.
On Thursday, 9th August 2010 at 9pm the new on-line Supporters Club Shop Website went live (www.wfcmegastore.co.uk). It is free to browse and to register on the site and all proceeds go directly to Wealdstone FC Supporters Club. The aim is not only to make it is easier for supporters and Stones fans to purchase all things Wealdstone from around the globe but also to reach a much wider audience. The online shop is fully functional with the ability to manage your own account, pay for delivery or pick up your purchases at the ground. Shop Manager Adam Edwards said, "Not only can fans that have moved away from the area purchase goods easily, but it also allows us to sell a much greater range of products which simply do not fit into the shop at the ground. We are able to offer our customers anything from the latest club leisurewear to old football programmes featuring the Stones as far back as the 1950s, as well as selling other non-Wealdstone football memorabilia."
A special mention needs to be made to supporter Neil Rands who without his expert knowledge and commitment this project would not have
got off the ground. Co Manager Mark Randall said, "Most clubs rely on volunteer help and Wealdstone FC is no exception. Having checked out
other clubs online shops we believe this to have the potential to be the best in Non-League and will even rival football league clubs in
the future".
