A tremendous all round battling performance from Wealdstone played out in horrendous storm conditions at The Vale on Saturday secured all the points. Match Referee Mr C. Green, who had an excellent game throughout was forced to temporarily suspend play for 10 minutes in the second half due to lightening but was able to bring the players back out after the worst of the maelstrom subsided. After both clubs speaking with the Ryman League, tonight's game has been postponed due to an ongoing power failure at East Thurrock. With no assurances that the problem (which is an outside problem), being fixed, both clubs and the Ryman League have come to this decision.

After a 10.00 am pitch inspection, today's New Year's Day clash against our local rivals, Harrow Borough has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. The Stones next match is this coming Saturday in the Ryman Premier League at Wingate & Finchley.
