WEALDSTONE SIGN DANNY GREEN FROM MARGATE Wealdstone have added to their squad with the signing of highly rated creative midfielder Danny Green from Margate. Green,25, started his career with Harlow Town and then enjoyed experience with Cheshunt and Bishop’s Stortford before moving to Billericay Town in 2009. Stones sign striker Elliott Benyon from Hayes & Yeading United Wealdstone have signed Elliott Benyon from Hayes & Yeading United where he was leading scorer for the National League South side last season. The experienced 28 year-old striker was United's Player of the Year last campaign; he originally joined Hayes & Yeading in January 2015 on a short term loan from Vanarama National side Torquay United, Benyon began his career as a trainee at Bristol City and then moved to Torquay United on loan making a total of 22 appearances for the Gulls, scoring five times in the 2007–08 season and also made an appearance at Wembley in the FA Trophy final at the end of that campaign.
