Wealdstone FC have received three League awards in the past seven days, meaning that the club have received a total of five special accolades this season.

The Stones collected two awards from the Isthmian League on Saturday evening at an event in Brighton.

Richard Jolly won the Golden Boot as the league’s top scorer and the club won the prestigious Barry East Award that is given to the Club that has brought the greatest acclaim to the league for the past season.

The club enjoyed a strong season on the pitch, reaching the Semi-Final of The FA Trophy, the Final of the Middlesex Senior Cup and the promotion play-offs in the League. The club’s reserve side also won the Capital League Western Division.

The Capital League have also honoured the club’s long-serving Secretary, Paul Fruin, by presenting him with a Merit Award at their AGM this week.

Last month, Wealdstone FC won national recognition at the National Game Awards, organised by The Non-League Paper. Richard Jolly was named Step 3 Player of the Year and the Golden Boot while manager Gordon Bartlett received a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The club was also nominated for “Cup Run of the Year” and Jonathon North was nominated for the Goalkeeper of the Year prize.

Although Jonathon did not win the National Game Award, he was selected in the Isthmian League Premier Division “Team of the Season”, alongside Richard Jolly.
