Welcome along to this eagerly anticipated match versus our old foes from Enfield. We trust they enjoy their visit and travel home safely -Of course they could stay and sample the range of drinks at the bar and then make their way home as Jez does every other weekend back to Enfield.
Those of you still to complete your presents to loved ones would do well to nip into the megastore today and pick up a few Wealdstone emblazoned trinkets. Apart from Xmas we’ve also got winter in general covered with our vast array of hats, scarves and badges. The badge may just give you a warm glow but the other items are fully insulated against the cold. If you prefer to leave it to the last minute then log onto the WFC megastore website –open every day 24/7- don’t those people ever sleep?
Those of you that attended our recent AGM will know that we reviewed how 2012 had gone for us in our efforts to support the club. The answer for others wondering is pretty well actually but we don’t intend to rest on our laurels so we’ll be hoping to extract more from you in 2013 in different ways. If you’re feeling lucky you may have the winning timed ticket today from Mim’s Golden Goals competition. The prize money is £50 to the person with the time of the first goal and a tenner for the last of the match.
Perhaps you’re considering travel to our away game at Leiston on the 29th? We’re looking to run a coach but, as ever, we do need to know earlier rather than later if you think you’ll use this service. Please check the forum or the WFCSC website for details.
The new launch of the 2013 annual membership drive is about to commence, a fiver will give you a smart membership card which will entitle you to discounts in the megastore and also on coach and train excursions next year. Once we have your email address you’ll never miss any news either as we send out communiques to keep you up to date with events concerning the Stones. The life membership is also available for a one off £25 payment. Ideal as a love gift for the other half…good luck with that one on xmas day!
