Hello everyone!

We would like to welcome all supporters including those that have travelled from Bath City for today’s second round tie in the FA Trophy. Bath will obviously want to avenge their home league defeat against us just before Christmas and we will want to continue our unbeaten record which stretches back to 17 November. We in fact have drawn the last four games and it would be interesting to know the last time that we drew four consecutive matches.

Jeanette, our Membership Secretary, has advised me recently that we have received details of two new life members of the Supporters Club, Paul Holden and Jim Sorrell. Welcome both of you to the fold!  Jim actually started supporting the Stones in the 1970’s and went to the same high school as Sudhir Rawal and me, (Gayton High School in Harrow). Jim actually now lives in Edinburgh but does occasionally come down to see the Stones and in fact the last time I saw him was at the play off defeat at home to Concord Rangers in 2013.

If ant supporters would like to become a life member please go to our website, (www.wfcsc.co.uk) for information on how to join. Life membership is £40 and you can become an annual member for £10. If you do become a life or annual member it would be great if you can provide us with some background information about yourself so that we can mention you in a future programme.

Our excellent Megastore will be open as usual before and after the game as well as during the half time interval. Both Adam and Mark have told me that the orders are still coming in steadily which will keep our treasurer Barry very happy indeed! Please note that for some time now, the Megastore accepts credit card payments just in case that you see something that you would like to purchase and you do not have the cash available! If you are not able to get to the Megastore today, please don’t forget that you can make purchases on line at www.wfcmegastore.co.uk

As mentioned in my last programme we are actively looking for two new people to join our vibrant committee. We are looking for a Secretary and for a Travel Secretary due to the fact that Jez will be leaving the committee at the end of the current season. If you are interested in joining our committee and in particular to fill these two very important positions, please make yourselves known to any committee member or contact me on 07988 792716 or by email at david.albert@sky.com and I will be happy to discuss these important roles further.

Don’t forget to buy your Golden Goals tickets today from Mim who stands just inside the ground, close to the turnstiles. Tickets are £1 each and you can win £50 for the first goal scored and £10 for the last goal scored. Goal times are announced by Bappo and published on the Supporters Club website (www.wfcsc.co.uk). If you do win you can collect your winnings from Mim in the Megastore after the game. We are pleased to report that the winner of the £50 prize at last Sunday’s match against Hemel Hempstead was one of our longest serving supporters, John Knight. Congratulations John!

Up the Stones!

David Albert.
