Funding provided for the new dugouts
Wealdstone Football Club Supporters Club (WFCSC) has made a significant contribution to the main club by funding the installation of larger dugouts. As the new season approaches, where seven substitutes can now be named on the bench for the first time, the board approached us for support.
Due to the overwhelming success of the recent Fanzones, where we entertained Wembley bound fans from Manchester City, Peterborough, Coventry, Bolton and Southampton, we have been able to cover the total cost of this upgrade of £15,000.
We must say thank you once again to everyone that was able to support us on these days. Chefs, servers, car parkers, raffle tickets sellers and of course the visiting fans have made this possible.
Mark Randall, WFCSC Chairman said “Once again, through the hard work of many people, we have been able to make a sizable donation to the main club. We are always looking for more helpers and I will guarantee that you can make a sizable difference to the club”.
WFC Chairman Rory Fitzgerald added “The board are very grateful for this donation. Without the Supporters Club’s contribution, valuable funds would have been diverted away from the playing side”.
As ever WFCSC will continue to work hard this coming season on a number of projects that will support the club and provide services and innovative events for our fan base
