The Junior Stones Player of the Season

The Junior Stones was the junior branch of the Supporters Club that evolved from the Pebbles Club in the mid-1980s. At its peak, it had several hundred members all aged under 14 who enjoyed free entry to all league games and incentives to attend Lower Mead Stadium. With the move to Watford in 1991, this came to an end, but restarted a few years later with a ‘Stones Mini-League’ providing a new pathway to the Club.

Each years the younger members vote for their Player of the Season and it is noticeable that these have often mirrored the Jock Law Trophy recipients.

In 2023/24 the Stuart Pearce Shield was awarded to Charlie Barker.
