The winner of the Lew Sheppard Award for Moment of the Season will be presented with a Trophy kindly donated by Lew’s children, Dave and Jackie.

A lifelong Stones fan, Lew first attended Lower Mead back in April 1939 and was a familiar and friendly face on the terraces till he sadly passed away on the 18th February 2024, aged 94.

First awarded at the end of the 2024-25 season to Alex Reid for his goal against Grimsby Town in the FA Cup, we were fortunate enough to have Dave and Jackie in attendance to present the award.

2025-26 saw Micah Obiero collect the award for goal against Marine in the FA Trophy semi-final that sent us to Wembley, this time presented by Mick Fishman.
