National League Fixtures Postponed

At its Board Meeting on Friday, The National League decided to use its best endeavours to keep its season going in the face of unprecedented adversity. However, with the current coronavirus (COVID-19) reaching global pandemic levels it has to accept that the situation is now out of its own control. In the knowledge of the government measures now announced including not to support sporting events with emergency services workers it is clearly not practical for its fixtures to be fulfilled in the immediate future. In those circumstances and in line with The Football Association and the Professional Game, at a Board Meeting today, The National League has decided that its competition is now suspended until at least 3rd April 2020. Stones sign Kreshnic Krasniqi

Wealdstone Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Kreshnic Krasniqi from Concord Rangers. The 25-year-old Kosovo-born midfielder has netted six goals this season for the Beach Boys and is available for selection against Chelmsford City on Tuesday evening. Krasniqi began his career in the Cypriot Third Division during 2013 with Ormideia. The midfielder earned a move to First Division side Ethnikos Achna which included a loan at THOI Lakatamia. The Kosovar then moved to England and played for Billericay Town before spells at Enfield Town, Barking and Heybridge Swifts.   From wealdstone-fc.com

Reece Beckles-Richards' loan at BetVictor Isthmian Premier Division side Cheshunt has been extended until the end of the season. The 24-year-old has been in positive scoring form recently for the Ambers, netting five goals in the last three games including a brace in the previous fixture. Adam Coombes returns to Welling United

Wealdstone FC can confirm that Adam Coombes' loan has expired and he will return to his parent club Welling United. The striker made four league appearances for the Stones since Boxing Day, scoring on one occasion. Harry Isted returns to Luton Town

Luton Town loanee goalkeeper Harry Isted's loan period expired at midnight. The 22-year-old dynamic shot stopper will return to the Hatters after a stellar spell between the sticks for the Stones.  Isted has been an integral part of Wealdstone's title challenge and push for promotion to the National League, securing an impressive six clean sheets for the Stones in the process. He was also voted the December Player of the Month by supporters. Wealdstone would like to take this opportunity to thank Harry for his first-class performances in helping the Stones to cement their position at the summit of the National League South. Aston Oxborough’s loan extended

We can confirm that Norwich City have agreed to extend the loan of goalkeeper Aston Oxborough until the end of the season. The 21-year-old commanding shot stopper has been in impressive form for the Stones, having recorded seven clean sheets in the league, up until his injury in early November. He was also voted the September Player of the Month by Wealdstone supporters. Stones sign McCoy on loan for rest of season

Wealdstone Football Club are delighted to announce that Olly McCoy has signed on loan until the end of the season from Championship side, Birmingham City. The 21-year-old winger will be available for selection against Bath City on Saturday at The Vale, for the Stones' top of the table clash. The Blues' winger had been on loan with Conference side Yeovil Town since August, making five appearances for the Glovers, before returning to Birmingham City earlier this month. McCoy has previously had spells within the youth setups at Crystal Palace, Charlton, and Brentford. Born in Slough, the winger will be another local addition to Dean Brennan's squad.
