Wealdstone Manager Gordon Bartlett reported this week that goal keeper Jonathan North is continuing to make good progress following the horrific leg injury he sustained during a Ryman League match at Canvey Island last March, suffering clean breaks of the tibia and fibula bones. Said Gordon: ‘ Jonathan is progressing very well; he is now walking without crutches and will be starting work with the physio at Watford FC this week – we are extremely grateful for the use of the facilities over there’.

North, recently named as one of the whole of non-league’s top 20 stoppers by the Non League Paper, hopes to be back in training by the end of the year.

Meanwhile, all of last season’s squad that reached the FA Trophy semi-finals and play-offs, are expected to be back for the start of pre-season training commencing on Tuesday 3rd July.
