As the big kick-off draws ever closer and game plans are stepped up, Wealdstone have confirmed that two more players have signed on the dotted line.
Nineteen year old midfielder George Nicholas has signed after impressing during the pre-season and has previous experience at Notts County and at Stones rivals Lewes, where he was on loan from the League One side last season.
Stones Manager Gordon Bartlett is also delighted to capture the signature of defender Nathan Webb who has previously featured for Hayes and Yeading in the Blue Square Premier and has had experience at Farnborough Town.
Meanwhile all of last season’s successful squad have re-signed Ryman forms; in other news, defender James Hammond has made a welcome return to the Stones squad this past week after unavailability, but Tommy Brewer, Sean Cronin and Chris O’Leary will miss the start of the league season due to suspensions carried over from the last campaign.
Stones will kick-off the new Ryman Premier campaign on Saturday 18 August with a home match at The Vale versus Met Police at 3pm. It is also hoped that the Supporter’s Club new expanded shop with a full range of new kit, now located on the dug-out side, will be open for business.
