After Saturday’s 6-2 victory against Merstham, Wealdstone were yesterday drawn at home against Conference North side Corby Town in the 3rd Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy. The game will be played on Saturday 10th November at the Vale. The game against Canvey Island that was originally scheduled will now be played at a later date. Corby known as “The Steelmen” have lost to the Stones on the last four visits, the last being a 2-1 defeat in April 2007. Corby currently lie second from bottom in the Conference North having only secured 10 points from 11 matches.
