Wealdstone’s novel and innovative fundraising scheme to donate 50p for each pint sold over the bars during the month of February has exceeded it’s 5,000 pint target and has raised the fantastic amount of over £4,000 for the club’s promotion effort this season.
Also contributing very strongly to the scheme’s success was the buy a ‘virtual pint’ on-line initiative that also raised a significant sum purchased by those supporters unable to visit the club during the month, or get to games, and Stones younger fans.

Wealdstone are currently battling it out in second position in the Ryman Premier League and this money will allow Manager Gordon Bartlett the option to strengthen the squad during the final run in, if needed.
