A special legends game will be played at The Vale on Sunday April 27, the day after the Stones’ final home fixture of the Ryman Premier League season when they will lift the championship trophy.

 

 

For Wealdstone, ex-Blackburn Rovers striker Simon Garner has confirmed that he will play, along with many famous former Stones players including Fergus Moore and Chris Walton. Among those to confirm their participation for Watford are all-time top-scorer Luther Blissett, 1990s midfield pair Richard Johnson and Micah Hyde and 1999 play-off final hero Allan Smart.Tickets are available on the day and are £5 including a programme, with concessions £2.

 

Any profit once costs have been covered will be donated to Wealdstone Football Club.

 

Hornets’ match day announcer Richard Short will be joined by radio commentator and presenter Mike Vince, whilst Watford fan Mark Giles will referee the game.
