A packed meeting of Stones fans on Thursday evening heard from Manager Gordon Bartlett and Chairman Howard Krais in a lively Q & A session. Covering a range of club matters including an update on the lease at The Vale, fans main attention focused on the current challenges faced by the team in the Vanarama Conference South.
Supporters listened intently to Gordon in an open and frank discussion and the Manager admitted that in all his years in management he had never been bottom of any league and was not wanted or expected even with the much publicised loss of three very influential players in the summer.
With some inimitable humour Gordon fielded questions covering all aspects of team matters and issued a passionate rallying cry to supporters with an unequivocal commitment to fight back and spoke of his total confidence in turning the teams fortunes around.
