FAMILY FUN AT WEALDSTONE FC AS CONFERENCE SPONSOR VISITS TOWN

Stones fans can look forward to an extra special match day on Saturday 22nd November when Conference sponsor Vanarama visits the ground offering a fun-filled day of Vuvuzellas, music and the chance for fans to win a shirt signed by the team.

The van leasing firm began sponsoring the non-league clubs in the Vanarama Conference at the start of the season and has hit the ground running.  A hugely successful non-league day last month raised thousands of pounds for Prostate Cancer UK and attracted record numbers to non-league grounds.

The 22nd will see Wealdstone FC, one of the best supported non league clubs in the London area, up against Conference South rivals Concord Rangers and the visit by Vanarama should add to the excitement.   Andy Alderson, managing director of Vanarama UK says, “As Conference sponsor and a company of football fans ourselves, we’re really keen to get involved in non-league football.  We aim to visit as many grounds across the nation as we can.  By visiting the ground, bringing extra colour and fun with competitions and noise we hope to add to what is already a great atmosphere and promote grassroots football still further.”

Vanarama’s representative for the Wealdstone area, Janice Maddock, will be at Saturday’s match answering any questions fans may have about van leasing or the company’s sponsorship of the Conference.

Wealdstone’s Chairman Howard Krais said “We’re delighted to team up with Vanarama and hope their presence will contribute to a great atmosphere on the 22nd. We have enjoyed getting to know Janice and the local team and hope that our relationship continues to grow and be mutually beneficial for years to come.”
