Player News – Update
Player activity and developments have been increasing at Wealdstone over the past week as we move deeper into the close season and remarkably get ready for the start of pre-season training, which is just days away.
We are pleased to announce two further player signings this week:
Ryan Hope – 20 year old Ryan is a central midfielder who has come through the Watford Academy and has appeared for Boreham Wood in the Vanarama National League South. Ryan spent a short period with Stones last year before joining Wood.
Oliver Duffy – a highly promising young defender has been signed from Hanwell Town
We are delighted to confirm that Scott McGleish is appointed as first team coach while continuing as a valuable member of the playing squad.
Meanwhile Carl Martin and Jonathan North have secured coaching and media roles at local Premier League side Watford as part of their career progression but both will continue to be available to play for Stones.
