Stones supporters invited to become a ‘12th Stone’

Wealdstone FC have announced that they are inviting all supporters to a series of meetings over the coming weeks to launch its new ‘12th Stone’ fundraising scheme.

The meetings will provide a briefing of this important scheme and supporterswill be provided with updates from the new commercial and marketing team, members of the Board and Stones Manager Gordon Bartlett.

Email and public Invites will be sent out progressively during June and Julyadvising supporters of dates to attend the meetings at Ruislip Social Club.

This series of events follows Chairman Howard Krais’ message to supporters last month that the club needs to continue to move forward with its ambitions and up its game in terms of bringing income into the Club.

If the Stones are to play competitively in the National League South and attract high quality players then it needs to make sure that it is financially able to progress in the short term.

Therefore the club is launching a new and significant fundraising scheme ‘12th Stone’ that will be key to supporting the playing budget as we move forward with our wider commercial plans.

The first series of invites will be sent out this week.
