Vinnie Jones set to re-live Stones 1985 Double triumph!

Former Wealdstone, Wimbledon, Leeds and Chelsea footballer, television and film star Vinnie Jones is all set to join his 1985 Double winning team mates at a very special 30 year celebration event at Wealdstone FC on Saturday 12th September.

Stones famously won the FA Trophy and National League (formally known as the Conference National) to win the first ever non-league ‘Double’ in 1985

Only a handful of tickets remain for what has been described by Club President and event organiser Paul Rumens as ‘ The biggest event of it’s type in the club’s recent history’

The event starts at 11.30am in the clubhouse main hall for a four course lunch and proceedings will include a main auction, silent auction, anecdotal stories, Q&A and there will be a special memento of the occasion for each guest.

The top table will feature Captain Paul Bowgett and Robin Wainwright together with Tim Parks overseeing events as MC for the day. Virtually all the 1985 players will be attending the celebration together with officials of the era.

Attendees will also receive a match ticket for our Vanarama National League South fixture which kicks-off at 3:00pm v Chelmsford City as well as a complimentary match-day programme along with half-time refreshments in the main hall. The FA Trophy itself and League Trophy will also be on display.

Post match, Club Photographer Steve Foster will be on hand to arrange a special photo session back in the main hall.

Any last minute bookings please call Paul Rumens on 07710 929692
