As expected , after a pitch inspection, tonight’s FA trophy First Round tie at Weston-Super-Mare has been postponed for the fifth time, due to a waterlogged pitch.
The tie has now been switched to Paulton Rovers FC, The Athletic Ground, Winterfield Road, Paulton, Bristol, BS39 7RF and will take place on Wednesday evening, 13 January with a 7.45 pm kick-off. The Supporters Club will not be running a coach to this match.
If a replay is necessary after 90 minutes play, this will take place on Saturday 16 January at The Vale with a 3.00 pm kick-off. If this replay take place and the Stones win, we will play our 2nd Round tie at Grimsby Town on Tuesday, 19 January with a 7.45 pm kick-off.
If the Stones win on Wednesday evening, they will play their 2nd round tie at Grimsby Town on Saturday, 16 January with a 3.00 pm kick-off. The Supporters Club will definitely be running a coach to this match and details will be advised as soon as we know if it is going to take place.
