It is the turn of Supporters Club Membership Secretary, Seth Dalton to wriite the Supporters Club programme notes for the matchday programme for tonight’s Ryman League clash against Bury Town. His programme notes are reproduced below.

Welcome one and all to tonight’s important league clash with Bury. These notes were prepared before our visit to Ram Meadow, but hopefully we will be trying to make it 6 points from 6 this evening against our visitors.

As mentioned in my previous notes we are looking to increase our membership and have designed a number of benefits which will only be available to members. Discounted travel on Supporters Club coaches, discounts in club shop and supporters club events, regular email updates and of course membership card and certificate.

In the Autumn we hope to be holding a Sportsman’s Dinner, with a well known sports personality speaker, and once again members will receive discounted rates on tickets. The planning is still at an early stage, but we will keep you updated on progress.

We recently entertained the Wrexham fans, on there way to Wembley for the FA trophy final, and the BBQ raised a healthy sum for the club. I would like to say a special thanks to Alan Ainsworth, who stepped into the breach when neither of our executive chefs were available on a freezing cold day, to keep the food flowing. Also special thanks to Clive’s lovely daughter Georgia who did a sterling job in the kitchen.

A lot of work goes into such events, not only by the Supporters Club but also the Social Club, and we are now reaping the rewards as our reputation spreads. Over the past few seasons we have entertained Aston Villa, Manchester City, Huddersfield Town, Cardiff City, Swansea and Wrexham, with Manchester City ,due to return shortly, and Wigan for the FA cup semis.

Don’t forget your golden goal tickets. £50 up for grabs from Mim at the turnstile.

Membership forms available in the club shop. Save on your coach seat. JOIN NOW.
