We welcome the fans and everyone connected with newly promoted Ebbsfleet United to The Vale. We look forward to a great match!

As President of the Supporters Club It’s been a real pleasure to be back involved in a more active role over the past year or so and I have enjoyed working with a resurgent committee. With the Stones back in the top tier of football outside the EFL we in WFCSC are striving hard to up our game with several experienced former committee people rejoining the group working alongside established members and helpers.

An important part of the SC mission is to raise funds for the main club, funds needed more than ever of course in a demandingly tough and professional National League. This we are doing increasingly successfully as recently by a £10k donation to the main club but this is far from our only purpose as we regularly debate at our meetings!

Traditionally, since the SC was founded way back in 1958 we have proudly provided an innovative range of fan services over the years, but recently ,perhaps, more expansively – as an example delivering the demanding but highly successful Wembley Fan Zone days. We have also completed a fans survey and more on this will be available soon. Again, great work.

Club social events are an essential part of enjoying a proper club atmosphere within our family of fans; a common purpose in coming together to support the football club we love. We have recently formed a sub committee that will re-focus on providing such events and new activities and we are looking to provide some attractive stuff so look out for news on these. In fact  we are now promoting a TOP COMEDY NIGHT scheduled to take place in the RSC after the home match vs Rochdale on Saturday November 11th. More details are being announced but in the meantime please contact James on 07979 795414. We hope you will all support this event and book your tickets ASAP that are very reasonably priced at only £15!

A huge achievement this season is the soon to be re-opened and much loved and very successful WFCSC MEGASTORE match-day shop and base. I don’t mind saying that getting this off the ground after the loss of the previous half way line shop has been a lengthy challenge for the guys but following productive talks with directors we have resolved the premises issues and are proudly back in business very soon. Please do visit the new Megastore shop situated next to DD’s to the left of the side road entrance and check out some great new stock lines and special reopening news. Our thanks to the main club for also providing a much needed storage facility close by.

There’s always loads going on behind the scenes, too much to include in these notes but you can best keep up to date by joining the SC and by visiting the WFCSC website and links at https://wfcsc.co.uk

and checking out our various social media channels

May I thank all the guys and girls on the committee and helpers for their hard work during the summer and so far this season and most of all you the fans for supporting our activities!

Finally, don’t forget to buy your WFCSC 50/50 tickets before the match today!

UTS!
