Train news latest:

From Liverpool St 10am, change Ipswich 11.07, arrive Lowestoft 12.44.

Return departure at 17.50, change at Norwich ,arrive back at Liverpool St 20.55.

I’ve been on to the group travel people who have quoted me a price higher than the online January seat sale offer. In view of this, here’s my thoughts. If people want me to book a ticket for them it’s gonna be £15, I can get up to 8 people per booking . This makes the Supporters Club a fiver a ticket and helps re claw some of the loss from our coach to Margate.
I’m offering a concierge service, meet in the wetherspoons on station for brekkie 9am. A trip to the famous Triangle tavern and it’s new little brother pub even nearer the ground. We last visited Lowestoft in November 2010, if anyone wants to know how it was, just ask anyone who went- in a word= superb.

Please let me know as soon as poss. Not sure how many seats on these trains there are up for grabs at the low price.

Footnote: If folks want to go online themselves and book up of course they can! 🙂

Oh and one final shout- Attic claims the fish and chips there are the best he’s had (and he’s had a few)

Update:

Unravelling the scrawlings on the scrap of paper used to get the names and train times of who’s in on this jolly boys outing.

On the 10am: Me, TP Mark, Mik/Mark Hyde, Fergie, Paul (shagger) 55, Steve F and Shane. All paid up and on board.
Bappo, the mega boys and Guy E, Ranos and Xander(?) plus good ol’ boy Dave the retired post office fella. All to pay on Tuesday.

On the 9am: Cardew, John and Dave Paid up .
Jez,Tony M to cough up Tuesday.

If I get all the money due the Supporters Club will earn £95.from this trip.
