Wealdstone FC have made the following signings prior to today’s (Friday 30 March) deadline:

James Mulley has signed on loan from League Two outfit AFC Wimbledon. The 23 year old pacy utility player has previously played for Hayes & Yeading United where he was their longest serving performer in a mainly attacking midfield role.

 

Dean Green has signed from Brentwood Town. Dean,34, is a highly experienced, tall, striker and counts Borehamwood, Crawley Town, Farnborough and AFC Hornchurch amongst his  previous clubs 

Ashley Jones, goalkeeper, will continue to be available and is a dual registred signing from Blue Square Premier side Braintree Town. Ashley will be available for selection for the upcoming Middlesex Senior Cup Final on Easter Monday.

Going the other way is midfielder David Hicks who is leaving the club for travel reasons following a work promotion. All at Wealdstone wish David all the very best and thank him for his services following his return to the club last year.

In other news, Stones Manager Gordon Bartlett and members of the playing staff have visited Jonathan North in Basildon Hospital where the keeper remains under observation. Jonathan underwent a 6 hour operation on Wednesday but surgeons are very pleased with his progress. Bartlett said: ‘ It was great to see Jon so upbeat and cheerful. He has had a pin inserted from his knee down to his ankle and the medical team are happy with how things went. It is a measure of how popular Jon is with the huge amount of messages of goodwill he has received for which he is hugely grateful’
