With Wealdstone’s dash for the Ryman Premier play-offs reaching it’s exhilarating conclusion over two crucial matches this week, Tuesday evening’s clash at Margate FC has presented challenging travel problems, even for Stones fanatical following. But loyal fan Neil Rands has come up with an innovative solution to beat the M25 traffic and will literally fly over the biggest car park in Europe by using his pilots licence to fly himself and fellow Stones supporters to the big game.
Neil’s plane – a Cessna 172 – will depart from Elstree airport (with a local pub acting as departure lounge) on Tuesday afternoon (24 April) and the journey should take just over an hour with three other fans taking the flight to Kent’s Manston Airport (Kent International), a few miles from Margate’s ground.

Only the weather can now stop this novel away travel transport solution and shuttle runs are a possibility!
