Wealdstone swooped to sign highly experienced midfielder Elliott Godfrey on transfer deadline day.
Godfrey, 29, has long been a target of Stones Manager Gordon Bartlett and the signing has come at just the right time to boost the squad as promotion chasing Stones hit the business end of the season, facing a hugely congested fixture list.
Recently and reluctantly released by Conference South side Staines Town in his second spell for the Swans, Godfrey has seen experience at Watford, Hampton & Richmond Borough,AFC Wimbledon and Borehamwood. He is a former Canadian International with a total of 11 appearances for both the Under 20 and Under 23 sides.
