Wealdstone have further boosted their squad with the signing of central defender Michael Alaile, a capture made possible by the recently launched ‘Pints4Promotion’ fundraising campaign.

Alaile, 24, was released last week by Ryman Premier rivals Margate FC; the six foot, versatile back player was signed by former ‘Gate Manager Chris Kinnear last summer from Canvey Island FC where he made over 30 starts. He appeared 19 times for the Kent club including 13 starts playing as right back, in the middle of the defence and at left back. Alaile previously played for Braintree Town.
