Wealdstone have added to their squad with the signing of 26 year old Tom Hamblin from Skrill Conference North side Gloucester City.

The 6′ 3” combative defender has been a regular fixture in the Tigers line up, signing for them in 2006.

Wealdstone Manager Gordon Bartlett said: ‘Tom is a big strong defender with a wealth of experience and will be another important acquisition to the squad in our quest to build on our solid start to the season.  His Manager Dave Mehew called me recently to say he was moving to our area with his job and I watched him against league leaders Brackley in the Conference North last week. Tom cast his eye over us against Hornchurch and Thamesmead and was impressed enough to agree to sign, although he is not available till next week due to work commitments.’

Meanwhile in other player news, Adam Martin has joined Burnham on a dual registration in order to gain some match fitness.
