Stones announce signing of Scott Davies

Wealdstone are delighted to have captured the signature of highly rated midfielder Scott Davies from Southern League Premier side Dunstable Town.

An excellent passer of the ball, 26 year old Scott started his career at Watford FC in their Academy set up and then moved onto Aylesbury United’s first team.

In 2001, he moved to Wycombe Wanderers before transferring to Reading FC a year later. In September 2006, Davies joined Yeading FC on loan scoring the winning
goal away at Ramsgate which saw Yeading go on to face Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup. Davies has had experience at Yeovil Town, Bristol Rovers and made 20
appearances for Oxford United and has three Republic of Ireland under 21 caps to his name.

Stones Manager Gordon Bartlett said: ‘ We are very pleased to have signed Scott as there there were several other clubs in for him. We have brought him in with
a view to the future but he is an experienced player with plenty of pro football under his belt; Scott has a good passing range and can also score goals and
this can only assist our continued progress this season in the Conference South’

All Wealdstone supporters welcome Scott to Wealdstone Football Club
