Good afternoon and welcome to the 4th Qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup against Bognor Regis Town FC. Today’s winner goes into the hat with the chance of landing a plum tie away to a big league side. With little chance of winning they score a last minute winner and memories of a lifetime are made. Or they could draw a team from the same level, lose, and then have to watch the victors appear live on TV in the next round. That’s the romance of the cup and I hope today’s fixture lives up to it! Like the Stones, Bognor like to play football and are backed up by a very vocal support and I hope that whatever happens they all have an enjoyable day and a safe journey home.

On to club shop matters and I don’t think that it has been reported yet in public circles that the Megastore made just under £6000 worth of profit last year. Adam and I are very proud of this figure but we both know that without the people that purchase the shirts, mug and other paraphernalia it could not be achieved. Not wanting to sit back and relax sales have started strongly this season with new products from Macron including polo shirts and of course the new home and away 1st team kit.

Our Ebay stores is going from strength to strength and we currently sell £40 – £50 worth if items per week. Why not look us up by searching for ‘WFCSC’ with Ebay as with 1200 listings you are sure to find something that you like! We are always looking for more items to sell and will happily take any and all donations.

We have new scarves today in the Megastore that complement the new home and away 1st team shirts. These are an excellent quality scarf priced at £10. There are also blue and white bar scarves with an embroidered club badge on order plus some new products to enhance our baby range. These should be in by Christmas and will make great presents for the little people in your life. We also have the new club pennants available for £5.

BREAKING NEWS: We have had an email from our supplier that our new high quality automatic golf umbrellas are being shipped to us in the week preceding this game. These are Wealdstone blue with white club crests on each quarter panel. Price TBC

Don’t forget to see Mim at the gate for you golden goals tickets and the chance to win £50 on the first goal time and £10 for the last for £1 a ticket.

COACH TRAVEL: If today ends in a draw the replay will be on Tuesday. The supporters club will be running a coach and you can book in the megastore before, during or after the game. Prices are as follows:- Adult: Members/Non Members £18/£20, Concessions: Members/Non-Members £13/£15. You can also contact Alan Palmer on 07961 872265 or alanraymondpalmer@btinternet.com The coach will leave the Vale at 1630 and returns straight after the game. I can confirm that there is a toilet on board J
