APPLICATIONS INVITED FOR POST OF CHAIRMAN
Following the recent announcement that Wealdstone FC Chairman Howard Krais is to step down at the end of the current season, the club is inviting interested persons to apply for this key leadership role.
The directors are inviting applicants to come forward from within the club or from outside. Candidates should register a firm interest in the role by contacting Andrew Lane, Company Secretary, on 07836 716349 or by e-mail a.lane@santandertotta.co.uk, no later than Monday 29th February 2016.
This is a unique opportunity for a committed individual to shape and drive an ambitious, progressive and well supported football club forward, building on its remarkable progress over recent years.
All candidates will have the opportunity to have a confidential discussion with the current Chairman, Howard Krais, to learn more about the role, to find out more about the Club, its goals and values, and to have the opportunity to ask any questions.
Candidates will be asked to prepare and submit by Saturday 19th March 2016, a document outlining how they would approach the role – their ‘manifesto’ for the future of the Club.
The Club Board will vote on the desired candidate giving the successful nominee at least one month to ensure a smooth handover period.
Given the importance of this appointment the Board will reserve the right to appoint an interim Chairman if no suitable candidate emerges.
