Whilst the Club wait for the final signoff of their matchday operational plan from the league and local authority there will be a series of email announcements over the coming week in preparation for Saturday. Below is the first email they issued with information about the Supporter Code of Conduct.

At least initially, football at Grosvenor Vale will look a little different from normal, for example we will not be using the main turnstiles. Instead we will be using the top 4 turnstiles and unfortunately there will be no use of the social club.

Further announcements around this will be made shortly along with others regarding those that are not yet comfortable to return to the Vale, and how to let the club know that you are not coming so we can resell your ticket.

Code Of Conduct

Today’s email focuses of the “Spectator Code of Conduct” which is an integral part of the matchday plan that must be followed. The code is attached in a .pdf format and I am sure that you would agree that the points are perfectly achievable.

You may have seen already that Weymouth encountered severe breaches of their plan and consequently will have, at least a reduced, capacity for their next game.

We all have a collective duty to make sure that, regardless of personal feelings towards Covid-19, we ensure that the Vale is a safe environment and that there are no instances of behavior that could result in sanctions against the Club.

We are also expecting the local authority to be with us on Saturday.

Volunteers

We are still looking for volunteers to help us on a matchday. There are many additional roles that need to be undertaken such as stewarding, ball collection and sanitising, temperature checkers, programme sellers and turnstile operators.

If you require any further information on the roles and have a potential interest in helping the club during these challenging times, please contact nicksymmons@btinternet.com

Thank you for your continued support
