A warm welcome to all for today’s game versus Lewes. To those that have made their way from Sussex we trust they enjoy their visit to us and have a safe journey home. Our trip to the Dripping Pan back in October allowed a number of us to meet Lewes fan David Arnold who made a vivid impression on us with his hospitality. Best wishes to you for 2012.

2012 has been promoted as a massive year for London. Most think that this refers to the Queen’s jubilee in June and the Olympics a couple of months later. I’m dreaming of a Wealdstone charge up the table along with a FA Trophy visit to Wembley. After the great start to the New Year at Wingate and Finchley and with our current form hopes have got to be sky high!

The Supporters’ club have plenty to keep us busy over the next few months, the day to day trading via the Wealdstone FC megastore continues to show reward for the time and effort that the mega-boys Adam and Mark have put in. Supporter of Year (Mr RANOS) has used his skills to create a website worthy of a premiership club.

Mim continues to peddle her Golden Goals, that help raise funds for the Club, in all weathers. We are indebted to her. Well worth a punt of a pound to pull the lucky winning £50 first goal time out of the hat (bag). The Tenner for the last goal is also handy.

We have a supporters club meeting on Monday 9th in the aquarium bar. If there’s anyone that fancies coming along as an observer or to express an interest in getting involved please nip into the club shop today for further details. There’s going to be plenty of calls going out for help as the season progresses!

Later this month we have the exciting journey and day out to Lowestoft. It’s generally regarded as being one of the best trips of the season. The supporters club have secured places on the 10am departure from Liverpool Street. Details can be found on the forum but this one comes highly recommended. £15 is the fare. Those that may wish to email can get in touch via. wealdstonefcsc@hotmail.co.uk
Once again, enjoy the game today and hope to see you all in the clubhouse post match for deep football analysis and comparisons between their Harvey’s beer and our real ales.

Cheers.
Clive
