£8,000 Donation to Wealdstone FC
Wealdstone FC Supporters Club is delighted to announce that they have made a donation to the main club of £8,000 as a contribution towards a professional master plan. The purpose of this plan is to look at the viability of utilising the Vale in conjunction with the new stadium to provide an additional asset to Wealdstone’s infrastructure and the wider community.
WFCSC Chairman Mark Randall said: “Following recent discussions with directors we were very pleased to answer the request to support the main club. Since moving to the Vale in 2009 we have grown deep roots within the local community. With the fantastic news that we are looking to build a new stadium, we want to support the efforts to turn the Vale into an even bigger community asset.
None of these donations would be possible without the fantastic support of our many loyal fans and members who continually support our ongoing fundraising activities organised by the hard work of our volunteer committee and helpers.”
WFC director Darren Linden said: “As stated in the new stadium press release our ideal goal is to be able to develop the Vale into the site that serves both Wealdstone FC and the local community. The planning that we are undertaking emphasises the importance of the relationships that we have built locally. At this very important time in the development and progress of Wealdstone FC, it’s really gratifying that we have a supporters club whose goals are aligned with us and providing such valuable support”
