Donation to Wealdstone FC from the Supporters Club
WFCSC are extremely pleased to support the playing budget at a crucial time of the season. At last week’s committee meeting it was decided to transfer £10,000 over to the main club and this has already been used to help bring players in.
£7,000 of this relates to the excellent work that Peter Worby and John Young have done by taking over the ball and shirt donations this season.
£3,000 comes directly from WFCSC funds and has been used to purchase shares, which further increases our shareholding.
In addition to this, in November, we were approached to assist with the cost of Archie Matthew’s operation that was needed after his injury away at Forrest Green Rovers. We have contributed £1,500 towards this, which was paid over to the main club at the time and we hope to see Archie back in a Stones shirt in the near future.
