A warm late summer welcome to our visitors today Kings Langley FC for an historic FA Cup tie.
Checking the late great Roy Couch’s fascinating records book (‘Facts & Figures’ – available in the Megastore) we have never played the Kings in a competitive match and this is a record breaking run for them to get to this First Qualifying Round stage. Needless to say that we will have to be on full alert today as we are all too well aware of how important it is to progress to the later stages of this, the greatest of football competitions.
I am typing up these notes prior to our huge league match at AFC Hornchurch so let’s hope that we were able to come away with a result. What a fantastic run in the league we have had and the trip to Bury Town last Saturday was a classic away day with 170 fans travelling up to Ram Meadow. A big thanks to Jez Albert for organising another outing in the famous Double Decker and it turned out to be a superb day all round with the usual great Wealdstone banter. More please!
We are continuing to progress rapidly as a club and it is important that we at the Supporters’ Club continue to enhance our members (and all our fans) services and look for improvements. We have a very proactive committee and we are always looking at new initiatives that will aid the main club and assist our fans.

There is a huge range of Stones branded merchandise inside so take a browse around – it’s amazing a bit like the Tardis!
